MOORLAND Fuels in Okehampton has announced that eight-year-old Teddie Kronsnabl, from Sticklepath, has won the competition to design the fuel company’s Christmas card.
The card will be sent to Moorland Fuels’ gold service customers and handed out by drivers throughout the month of December.
This is the fifth year that the company has run its Christmas Card Contest, and this year more than 250 children from several different schools throughout the area participated.
Ben More, Moorland Fuels managing director, said: ‘We really look forward to this competition every year!
‘Teddie’s card really stood out to us because of its bright colours, attention to details and its wintry feel. We especially liked the reindeer on the tanker and the cheerful robin perched on a tree stump.’
Teddie said that she entered the competition because she loves drawing and would like to be an artist when she is older.
The young art-ethusiast has won a family day out at Crealy Advernture Park and Moorland Fuels has donated £50 to her chosen charity South Tawton Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
Teddie chose South Tawton PTA because she wanted to support her school and their fundraising activities.
