A WOMAN with fond memories of her time in Okehampton girl guides is looking for video or photographs of a show from the mid 1980s.

Liz Cole was a girl guide in Okehampton during the 1980s, and performed in a joint show with the scouts. She was dressed as the tin man for Wizard of Oz-themed sketches, and other skits.

The show took place in the 1980s, and Liz is hoping to find someone with photos or a video of the event.

She said: 'I think it must have been between 1984 and 1986. I have very fond memories of making my tin man costume for it, but we left Okehampton decades ago and I have lost touch with anyone who would have had photos or the video.

'It was video-ed, but alas my folks didn't buy a copy, and I was too young to do so myself. This is clearly a long shot, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.'
