THE game started off a slow tempo but is was the visitors who took the lead with a scuffed shot from Alex Emuss which somehow found its way into the back of the net.
After some good play the visitors scored three more — by Jake Lloyd, Josh Balston and the best of the game from Rob Yells with a low driven shot finding the bottem corner.
Okehampton then let off and the home side attacked — leading to a lot of short corners for Mid Somerset with Oke keeper Hayden Bond making a string of saves — although two goals found the back of the net.
Okehampton then scored again through Balston with a reverse hit.
Mid Someset counter attacked to score again so Okes went into the break 5-3 up.
In the second half Okehampton tightened then defence with some good tackling from Ian Miller, good supporting play from Will Cooper, Adam Cockane and Emuss led to three more goals for the visitors — two from Balston and another from Lloyd.
Okehampton kept on with the good play which led to a well worked goal from Stuart Javis.
Close to the end Oke conceded a penalty flick but still finished ahead by four goals.
