THE King George V Sports and Community Centre in Moretonhampstead will host a fireworks display aiming to be one of the best in the south west.
Firework company Skyburst will choreograph the ambitious display on Saturday, November 2.
There will be a variety of refreshments, include a barbecue, hot drinks, and drinks from the centre's licensed bar.
Kate Hocking from the sports centre said: 'We are delighted to be hosting Moretonhampstead's annual fireworks night again and it will be a spectacular evening for all the family.
'One big advantage of holding the fireworks display at the centre is that we can offer indoor facilities so that people can enjoy the comfort of indoors as well as outside, whatever the weather.
'This is also a great benefit for those with young children or those with limited mobility.'
Money raised by the display will go towards improvements to the day care facility for the elderly at the centre. Entry costs £5 for adults, £2.50 for children aged 13 and under.
Gates open at 6.30pm, and while parking at the centre is limited, the town centre car parks are a ten minute walk away.
The team behind the event is keen for people to add to the bonfire by bringing old furniture and scrap wood to add to the pile.
