SPORTS and activity providers can enrol in an emergency first aid course being organised by OCRA.

The HSE emergency first aid course is being put on at the request of several clubs in the town. The course is essential for all sports coaches to attend every three years to ensure they have the current first aid qualifications.

The course covers first aid priorities, managing incidents, basic life support and a range of other topics.

Okehampton Rugby Club will host the course on Monday, February 25 and Monday, March 4 from 6.15pm to 9.15pm each night. Anyone who enrols will need to attend both nights to complete the course.
