FANCY going to the races but don't want to get cold and wet? Winkleigh Fair Committee has the answer.

Everyone is welcome to come along to Race Night, where as well as the chance to bet and win on each race, guests will also have the opportunity to become a horse owner for a race.

The event is on Saturday, March 20 in Winkleigh Village Hall. Entry is £5 per person in advance, or £6.50 on the door, to include a glass of bubbly to start the evening, nibbles and a race card.

Doors open at 7.30pm with the first race starting at 8pm. The event is for strictly over 18s only and the bar will be open all evening. Tickets are available from Winkleigh Post Office, the Mad Butcher of Winkleigh and D & S Supplies.
