A PROGRAMME of full family learning is all set to take place at Okehampton College — and all are being urged to take part.
In partnership with West Devon Adult Community Learning, Okehampton College is offering parents the chance to find out how things are taught and to discover what actually happens in 21st century school lessons.
Keith Webber, from the college, said: 'We would like to offer parents the chance to find out what happens by inviting them in during the evenings.
'We are offering three dates. parents can come to all three nights if they wish and try a different subject each time or just one or two nights if they prefer.
'Children can come along too and do these lessons with them.'
The subjects on offer include Maths, English, Science, Geography and Media Studies.
They are all free of charge and the offer is open to parents with children already at the college or in years 5 or 6 and thinking of joining Okehampton College.
The programme will run from 6pm until 8pm, with a midpoint coffee break, on Tuesday, October 7, Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 23.

When replying, parents are asked to please state which night or nights they would like to attend, the subjects they would like to try and the age of their children.
