ANTIQUES enthusiasts in Okehampton should rummage through their attics to find hidden treasures for an antiques valuation and furniture study workshop in October.

Okehampton Rugby Club will host the event on Wednesday, October 23. Christopher Chanter will give a demonstration on cleaning and polishing antiques followed by a valuation and appraisal of pieces brought in by visitors after lunch. The event has been organised by Dartmoor Decorative and Fine Art Society.

It begins at 10am with registration and coffee. The lectures start at 10.30am, costing £28 for DDFAS and £30 for non members.
