THE Julian Meeting group of Okehampton is holding a 'Quiet Day' on Monday, October 11 from 10am to 4pm at the Church House, South Tawton.

The group is based on the teachings of Julian of Norwich, a 14th century mystic, and its meetings encourage contemplative prayer and 'being together in silence.'

All will be welcome for all or part of the day. There are breaks during the day for lunch and a chat and tea and biscuits afterwards.
