THE marriage of Sarah Jane Vaughan, 24, and Robert John Sheppard, 25, took place on July 24 at Roadford Lake.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Nigel and Teresa Vaughan, of Okehampton, who works at Quinn's hairdressers. The bridegroom is the eldest son of John and Kay Sheppard, of Okehampton, and is a self-employed electrician.
The bride, given away by her father, wore a diamond white dress with crystal embellishments, she carried a bouquet of yellow and orange roses, and dark orange calla lilies with crystals.
The bridesmaids were Michelle Vaughan, sister; Claire Stanbury, friend; and Charlie Timms, friend. They wore buttercup yellow, and carried a small bouquet similar to the bride's.
Best man was Paul Sheppard, brother, and ushers were John Dufty and Mike Wave, fiends. Lisa Whale, friend, gave a reading.
The cake was made by Joanne Cockerill, bride's aunt.
The couple will go on their honeymoon later this year to Las Vegas, Hawaii finishing off in San Francisco.?Their future home will be in Okehampton.
