THE ladies of Okehampton Putting Club enjoyed their annual dinner at the New Inn in Sampford Courtenay recently.

President Beryl Wooldridge welcomed the guest of honour Mrs Justine Davies, Okehampton mayoress, who presented the club trophies on the evening.

The ladies putting club meets from the first Monday in May to the last Monday in September at 1.45pm at the putting green in Simmons Park.

The club also holds a monthly whist drive for members throughout the winter on the first Wednesday of each month at Okehampton Bowling Club. For more information call Anne Brokebrow on 01837 55813.
