A LIVE music event is being held to raise money for Okehampton Foodbank in the wake of the redundancies announced last week.

The event stars Sheffield singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna, supported by Launceston lads and festival favourites Freedom Falls.

The event is being organised by the Gilead Foundation, and will take place in Okehampton's Charter Hall on Friday February 25, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3, and are available from Lois Samuel on 01837 851240 or from OK Leisure. Under 12s are free if accompanied by an adult, and refreshments will be on sale.
