IN autumn like conditions Okehampton Golf Club held their mens four ball better ball open competition.

More than 150 competitors from all over the South West took part in the event.

The overall winners from Okehampton were Arnie Searle and Gary Carey with 47 points. Second overall, also from Okehampton, were Andy Parry and Robin Webb with 43pts. First visiting team went to J Stacey and J Jameson from Launceston with 40pts and second with 39 were R and K Thompson from Torquay.

Best combination team went to Aaron West (Okehampton) and A West (St Mellion) with 42 pts. The first home team pair were Paul Skidmore and Richard Reid also with 42 pts.
