THE Okehampton Water Polo Club hosted a tournament at Parklands Leisure Centre involving teams from both Cornwall and Devon.
The club has been running for a few years now, but this is the first year it has been entering formal competitions.
Okehampton Water Polo Club has made great progress although it is yet to match the skills of the bigger clubs like Newquay, Truro and Barnstaple.
A fun evening with several high scoring games was had by all, and in the end Newquay were comfortable winners.
If you have ever fancied combining swimming with ball sports then perhaps water polo is for you, the club are looking for new members- junior and senior, male or female and experienced or beginners.
