Remember the R&B Legends?

DOES anyone remember the Legends? That's the question one ex band member is asking residents of Okehampton.

The R&B band, who operated out of Okehampton in the 1960s, used to hold practice sessions in Belstone and played gigs all over the South West.

Ex band member and bass player Malcolm Davies is looking for the old members, who consisted of lead singer Rick, rhythm guitarist Pete and organ player Les, from Okehampton and drummer John and lead guitarist Pete from Plymouth.

Malcolm, who currently lives in Essex, left the band in the mid 60s. He is in the process of moving back to the West Country and is looking to start up another band and make contact with the old.

He will be visiting at the end of March, along with his Yamaha keyboard and acoustic guitar.
