OKEHAMPTON'S Fairplace Church will host a special service later this month, to remember those we have lost.

Hospiscare, a charity providing specialist care and support to patients across Devon, is holding a service of light and thanksgiving at the church on Wednesday November 30.

The service, which begins at 7pm, offers the opportunity to remember loved ones, give thanks for their lives and light a candle in their memory.

The Hospiscare book of memory records the names of those who have been remembered. It will be brought to the service and remain on display until January 5.
