THOSE sports clubs in Okehampton and district who are looking for help with training and equipment are being invited to apply to 5X30.
5X30 is a Devon partnership project, supported by Sport England, which is helping a wide variety of local physical activities develop through its funding and community activator support.
Stuart Lord, the 5X30 Okehampton area activator said there are three funds available. Training, for up to £250, for any club encouraging level one coaching and for supporting courses such as first aid and child protection.
There is an equipment fund of up to £100 to help activities develop and a physical activity and sport fun, up to £200 to help start a new activity in your community.

He said: 'I can help you develop your ideas and fill in the application. We also have an equipment loan scheme- should you need to use some equipment to develop activity or for an event.'
