THE Okehampton branch of Mole Avon was transformed last weekend for their charity fashion show.
The two day event was organised to raise funds for CLIC Sargent and the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.
The show featured customers, friends and family of the Mole Avon store parading the new season's clothing range, all of which are available to buy at the store.
Guests enjoyed wine and nibbles, as well as receiving a discount voucher for the store with every ticket. The grand prize raffle, with a first prize of a 32 inch LCD high definition television, raised £1,500. The two smaller raffles raised around £750.
Store manager Maria Cooper said: 'The two nights were brilliant, absolutely excellent.
'Both nights were really well supported by staff, friends, family and customers of the branch. The models all seemed to enjoy themselves and have a lot of fun, and we sold a lot of tickets for both nights.
'The final total hasn't gone in yet but we will have raised over £5,000, which we will split evenly between the two charities.
'It was a lot of hard work, so we're thinking about doing another fundraiser, but maybe not for a while yet!'
Maria and the team at Mole Avon expressed thanks to Linda Sampson for providing the food, Gillian Lawson and everyone at Gillians Hairdressers for their support, and everyone who supported the event and made it such a success.
