FOLLOWING last week's narrow loss to Sidmouth 12-7, in which Okehampton showed real team promise and commitment this away performance to a well drilled Teignmouth side was the complete opposite.
The Okes allowed the opposition far too much time on the ball to release their backs to score four tries, two of which were converted. Had it not been for an outstanding defensive performance from Harry Hawker and some good scrummaging by the pack the defeat would have been much heavier.
Okehampton's try was scored by Ross Davidson who picked up from a scrum in his own half and outpaced the opposition to score in the corner. The conversion was kicked by Daniel Thorne.
