Four artist friends from Great Torrington will share an exhibition space to showcase their work for Devon Open Studios, which runs from September 12-20.

Helyne Jennings, Sue Eeles, Bridgette Anderson and Sue Meager will display their work at Clinton Lodge in Petrockstowe, which is currently being restored.

The friends all work in mixed media, using a range of materials and techniques to create mainly abstract or semi-abstract pieces. Helyne’s interest lies in abstract wall art and hand-painted ear studs and brooches, while Sue Eeles creates creates impressionistic stitched art. Bridgette works with a wide range of materials and processes and Sue Meager creates semi-abstract landscapes.

Members of the public can visit Clinton Lodge and speak to the artists from September 12-20, between 10:30am and 4:30pm.
