ANIMAL lovers in Okehampton got a close inspection of how their local vet works at a special client evening recently.

Okeford Veterinary Centre held the evening to give pet owners the chance to meet the staff and see the services on offer, and increase awareness of tumours in pets.

Lennon Foo held a short presentation on oncology in the Ockment Centre, followed by practical presentations at the practice and a tour of the surgery. There were also demonstrations to watch.

Another event at the surgery is planned soon.
