CHAGSTOCK Festival has been nominated for ‘best small festival’ at the prestigious Festival Kidz awards.

The awards honour the very best family and child-friendly festivals out of the thousands taking place across the UK every year.

Attendees who enjoyed this year’s Chagstock Festival are encouraged to cast their vote at www.festivalkidz.com/blog/festival-kidz-awards-2015.

Chagstock festival organiser Si Ford said: ‘We are delighted that the hard work of all our staff and volunteers has been highlighted with this shortlisting for a national festival award.

‘We all work tirelessly throughout the year to put on the best family-friendly festival we possibly can, and it is a great honour to be shortlisted by Festival Kidz in recognition of this.’

One of the West Country’s best-loved festivals, Chagstock takes place in 70 acres of farmland near Chagford. Chagstock recently confirmed the event will return on July 22 and 23, 2016 for its tenth anniversary after a sellout year in 2015.

Organisers say some ‘very specials acts’ will be announced in due course to celebrate the anniversary.
