OKEHAMPTON and District Chamber of Trade expressed thanks to all friends, relatives and traders, who turned out in bad weather on Sunday, November 29 to erect the town's Christmas decorations and dismantle them on the cold morning of Sunday, January 3.

The chamber also expressed thanks to Okehampton Town Council and all businesses who donated funds and time towards the lights and to members of the public who donated funds.
