Members found the five acre garden, created from a field over the last five years, a delight, the choice of planting bringing a new horticultural vision at every turn.
The club members also enjoyed the nursery packed with quality specimens, many of which had already been seen in the garden itself, and a small tearoom serving hot and cold drinks and home-made cakes.

Everyone is made very welcome at this friendly, informal club. The next meeting is on Tuesday, August 17, when Toshi Hull will be demonstrating Japanese flower arranging.
