TWO local women are offering online fitness classes to keep people active and happy.

Personal trainer Rachael Elliott from Horsebridge is offering dance, mobility and boxfit classes using the online media conference website Zoom since gyms and halls where she usually holds classes closed. She is also adding daily advice and exercises on her social media pages.

Rachael said: ‘People can simply log in from home, have fun and work out with other like minded people. Some of them are even getting their partners, children and even dogs involved, which is wonderful. We all need to look after our bodies and our minds during this time.’

Meanwhile former Mount Kelly pupil Gen Greensted has been offering daily live barre classes (combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training) online and now she has invited her community of 114 participants in her ‘QuaranTeam’ to join her in raising money for NHS Charities Together in an effort to enhance patient care.

Gen is now going to ask participants to make a small contribution to the charity when they take part in her classes online. https://www.barrefitlondon.com
