The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) will offer vulnerable adults and children another covid booster this spring as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus.

The JCVI has advised that adults over 75, older adult residents in care homes and those over twelve who are immunosuppressed or have weakened immune systems should be offered a fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the spring.

The JCVI also emphasised that this is a precautionary measure only and should not be seen as signs of a new wave of coronavirus infections.  See www.westdevon.gov.uk
