SOMETIMES life wants you to bang your head against a brick wall! Last Wednesday we had our third power cut in as many weeks.

I can't be the only person in Okehampton that thinks enough is enough. They can't blame storms or lightning flashes because we haven't had any of those lately. Could it be connected with so many new houses being built, I wonder?

No, Western Power phoned me up the day after to say sorry for the breakdowns, saying we are having problems with a fuse that keeps blowing in one of the sub stations. Now, I'm no engineer, but it can't be rocket science to fix a fuse problem, can it? Not after a third time.

With the high price of electricity I think as consumers we deserve better.
