A SHEBBEAR College Junior School girl is already fulfilling her musical potential after becoming the first junior school pupil to ever join the college orchestra.

Year 6 pupil Jess Alexander has been playing the clarinet for two years, and will play the E flat horn.

Her first performance will be at the college's winter concert on Thursday, November 29, in a proms-style celebration of British music, including performance of rousing classics Jerusalem, Rule Britannia, and Auld Lang Syne.
