OKEHAMPTON and District Lions Club recently presented Okehampton College with the club's 'life skills pack' — Citizenship — a teaching resource for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

Citizenship education covers an enormous breadth of topics focusing on a wide range of issues, from local, national and international perspective.

The citizenship pack tackles topics including human rights, volunteering, rights and responsibilities, the media, fair trade, democracy, the criminal justice system, Local Agenda 21, the European Union, the Commonwealth, public services, sustainable development — and much more!
