Dittisham United 0

AFTER three weeks of inaction, due to the weather, Chagford finally got to make the long trip to their division six opponents in this second round tie and came away with a result worth the wait.

Three goals to the good within 15 minutes, through an own goal and two from man of the match Robbie Miller, the visitors never looked back.

Chris Woof added another and Miller completed his hat-trick before half-time.

With such a comfortable cushion Chagford brought on Hambly for Botham, allowing the latter to ease his comeback from injury. Wes Gavillet also came on, for the industrious Mike Wright.

For a short while Dittisham enjoyed a little more of the play but their opponents were in no mood to relax.

Dale Chadwick and Ricky Wooldridge made significant contributions from midfield, both earning the reward of a goal apiece in the second half.

Towards the end, veteran defender Will Hutchison came off for Vincent to take over in goal and Antony Geering to slot in at full-back.

An apparently easy but much needed win after the enforced break, with attention now returning to the resumption of league duties.
