Chagford 1
Barnstaple Town 2
CHAGFORD's first team's indifferent home form continued but at least this match saw a lot more determination, that deserved a better result with the visitors grabbing all the points right at the death.
The hosts attacked from the start and after Davis was denied early on, Steve Kinsey was on hand to bundle home a tenth-minute opener for Chagford.
The lead should have been doubled soon after when Botham, Kinsey and de Cruz combined and a cross saw Emanuel put his header over from only eight yards out.
On the half-hour mark, Chagford's Wills was shown a straight red card after a seemingly innocuous challenge.
For the rest of the match, Chagford defended superbly, worked their socks off and thought they'd done enough to secure a tremendous victory.
However the referee added an extra eight minutes to the match and Barnstaple finally broke the home walls in the 94th minute when a scuffed shot fell kindly to their forward who poked in the equaliser.
Four minutes later led to a long free-kick skimming off Botham's head and into the home net.
Chagford still had moments to create another chance through Miller whose shot was turned round the post just before the final whistle.
n Chagford are home to Witheridge Reserves on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Chagford Res 2
AXMOUTH United gained revenge for their recent defeat at Chagford and, in doing so, put their promotion hopes back on course.
The visitors played well for much of the match but only had Jerome Whatley's penalty and a rare goal from Jamie Forsey to show for their efforts..
