OKEHAMPTON Medi-cal Centre is delighted to announce the appointment of Dale Edwards as its new practice manager.

Prior to joining the practice, Dale (pictured) was the chief executive of Devon based haematology charity Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF). During his six years at the helm, the charity developed considerably, which saw the creation of local supporter groups including one in Okehampton.

Dr Amanda Cox, senior partner, said: ‘Dale has extensive senior management experience of developing businesses and organisations.

‘He understands the challenges of the NHS and GP Practice particularly during his time at ELF, a well respected medical charity.

‘Dale joins at an ideal time to help with the continued success of the practice by balancing patients’ needs and expectations with the emotional, financial and functional well-being of the practice.

‘All the partners would like to thank Jane Wilkins who has deputised as practice manager along with Gemma Cole over the last few months.’

Dale said: ‘I am thrilled to have been chosen as the new practice manager for the centre.

‘The opportunity to help develop the practice for the benefit of its patients is exceptionally exciting and rewarding.’
