WHO needs Glastonbury? Okehampton had music and food a-plenty for this year’s festival, described as ‘the best ever’.
Event planners organised a bigger line-up of local food and drink producers than ever before.
And there was a grand festival finale in the Charter Hall, where a ceilidh, buffet and bar helped bring the event to a close.
Food producers were joined by street food vendors, musicians and food-centric crafters on the streets of the town during the day.
Okehampton Mayor Jan Goffey said: ‘It was our third year and we’re really getting into the swing of things now.
‘I’ve never seen so many people out and about in Okehampton on a Saturday.
‘It was a lovely mix of food stalls and music, and it really brings people into the town.
‘We owe great thanks to all the organisers.’
Exhibitors booked included Dartmoor’s Black Tor Brewery and North Devon vineyard Quance Wines to meet the thirsts of festival-goers.
Food of all varieties was on offer.
