TWO firefighting appliances from Okehampton attended reports of a road traffic collision on Limehayes Road in Okehampton this morning (January 21), at around 9.30am.

Upon arrival crews found a collision involving two cars, with an elderly female still within one vehicle – though she was not physically trapped.

Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to gain access to the casualty. The police and ambulance were also in attendance.
