WHATEVER the weather, there is an opportunity to spoil Dad this Father's Day with a visit to Castle Drogo at Drewsteignton.

The National Trust property will be offering free guided tours of the garden, top tips and advice from the gardening team and the chance to sample some delicious local ales this Sunday June 21. Roast dinners in the Castle Drogo Café or delicious home-made cake will also be available for a special treat.

Dad can work off lunch with a relaxing stroll through the lovely formal gardens or explore the dramatic gorge of the Castle Drogo Estate with a walk down to the River Teign in the valley below.
