The A386 is currently closed between Hatherleigh and Meeth for a clean up operation after a hydraulic fuel spill.

The county council’s alert service said: “The A386 between Hatherleigh and Meeth is closed due to a hydraulic fluid spill. Please find an alternative route whilst the clean up operation is ongoing.”

The spill occurred just north of Hele Bridge, according to the map.
