ESSINGTON Road in North Tawton is closed in both directions due to a building fire at a property in Arundell Road, between Market Street and Essington Lane.

The road has been closed since 5.25am this morning, Thursday, July 10, to enable firefighters from across the area to fight the blaze.

Police and ambulance services have also been at the scene.
