THE annual Two Moors Festival, hosted by the Friends of All Saints Parish Church in Okehampton, proved a popular draw earlier this month with music lovers.

There were three concerts each day at the venue and workshops in Okehampton College.

The festival offered eleven days of performances held at 11 different churches —including All Saints —with a finale choral concert held at Exeter Cathedral.

David Vick, the secretary of the Friends of All Saints Parish Church in Okehampton, said: 'There was a musical feast of talented young musicians who are featured on the world stage.'

The Okehampton part of the event was well supported by audiences with around 60 people each daytime concert and 130 for the evening ones. People from a far away as Oxfordshire enjoyed the music fesival, including others from Somerset, Cornwall and other parts of Devon.

Sponsors include Classic FM radio, Devon County Council and the Okehampton United Charity.
