REPAIRS will be undertaken on a number of roads on Dartmoor in September and October.

Devon County Council has confirmed the B3357 from Two Bridges to Dartmeet will be closed from Monday, September 2 until Friday, September 6 while resurfacing is carried out.

The road will then be closed from Poundsgate to Dartmeet from Wednesday, September 11 to Wednesday, September 25 for resurfacing and replacement of cattle grids.

The official diversion route will be signed via Two Bridges, Moretonhampstead, Bovey Tracey and Ashburton and vice versa.

From Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 11, resurfacing work will be carried out on the B3212, which will be closed between Warren House and Challacombe Cross. A signed diversion route will be in place via Moretonhampstead, Whiddon Down, the A30, Tavistock and Two Bridges.

The B3387 at Hemsworthy Gate will be closed from Monday, October 7 to Wednesday, October 9 while cattle grids are replaced. The diversion route for this closure will be via Bovey Tracey, the A38 and Ashburton and vice versa.

All of the work is weather dependent and any changes to the closure dates will be indicated on temporary signs on site.
