I NEVER cease to be amazed at the common, random acts of kindness of people in Tavistock.

A few days ago my partner accidently dropped a Christmas card on the  floor at the local Post Office branch.  It was unstamped and was addressed to a person in Canada.  She thought that she had probably dropped it into the mailbox along with other, more local, cards.

A day later, there was a knock on our door.  It was a gentleman who had picked up the unstamped card and after noting the return address, drove over to our house to return it.

Where else in the world does this kind of thing happen?
