Two bus routes linking Tavistock with nearby villages will run for the last time today (October 30).
Service 121, which links Tavistock and Milton Abbot, and service 122, which links Horndon and Peter Tavy to Tavistock, both run on Fridays and are set to be discontinued from Sunday (November 1).
Devon County Council said route 121 was being withdrawn because it duplicated service 184, while route 122 had very low usage, making it financially unviable.
Brentor Parish Council said a community service would be put in place for Horndon and Peter Tavy.
From Sunday, the Okehampton–Newton Abbot bus will be rerouted via Haytor Vale. It will no longer serve Bovey Tracey or Trago Mills.
