For Eliza, this achievement is the result of countless hours of training, competing and caring for her ponies, alongside her school commitments. Her determination and commitment have seen her progress rapidly through the British Eventing levels.

Eliza is following in her mums footsteps with the competitive family trait, her mum, Lauren Langman is a very successful international dog agility handler.

Lauren and Eliza, competed at Crufts back in 2023, with Lauren taking home first place in the Crufts medium ABC (anything but collie) agility final with her dog Classic. Eliza was aged 10 at the time and achieved first place in the Young Kennel Club’s Under 18’s Jumping at Crufts.

The whole family are incredibly proud of what Eliza has now achieved for the Badminton Horse Trials.

Eliza said: “I can’t believe I’m going to Badminton! It has always been my dream and I’m so excited that it’s actually going to happen.”

The teenager’s result follows a fantastic season of success and with the biggest event of her young equestrian career now on the horizon, Badminton 2027 is definitely on the agenda.
