A Torridge restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Gurkha Bideford, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 3 Allhalland Street, Bideford, Devon was given the maximum score after assessment on September 12, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Torridge's 114 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 90 (79%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
