Devon and Exeter three

Exmouth Amateurs Reserves 0

Chagford 2

CHAGFORD made it three consecutive league wins by taking all three points from their trip to the division's bottom club.

Goals from Oscar Emanuel and Paul Penberthy secured the win but there should have been a higher score-line for the visitors.

Tedburn St Mary 2

BOTTOM club Tedburn came to Chagford and put on a battling performance that belied their lack of points, gaining them a deserved victory.

Tedburn St Mary had a mix of youth and experience that played some delightful football at times, carving great holes through Chagford's midfield and defence.

Both their goals came from pacy break-outs that left the home keeper exposed, although Knight kept the score down with a clutch of fine saves.

His colleagues, however, seemed to be treading water at times as they failed to press home such advances they did make. When they did catch sight of the visitors' goal, they met an equally stubborn custodian or were unfortunate to hit the post or cross-bar.

Goals from Willson and Saunders gave Tedburn the win and Chagford scored a late consolation through Ollie Squire, that was too little too late.
