Okehampton Argyle 6

Liverton United 0

OKEHAMPTON won this clash at a canter in the end, but the first 40 minutes saw them struggle to break down this stubborn Liverton team.

After some near misses and some good goalkeeping Argyle finally broke the deadlock right on the stroke of half time from the penalty spot, Dale Chadwick stepped up and calmly sent the keeper the wrong way.

The second half saw the floodgates open, and it was a case of how many goals Okehampton would score.

The answer was five, Squires bagged a super hat-trick and goals from Coakley and Crimmins rounded off the home team's scoring.

With both the two teams lying near the foot of the table, this was a massive result for Okehampton. Argyle are at home again next week when they host Totnes and Dartington, 3pm kick off.
