CHERITON started brightly making every effort to attack with pace early on.

Okehampton quickly adapted and upped their work rate, which paid dividends. After much pressure Argyle won a corner from which the tireless Zak Spears scored with a lovely glancing header into the the top left hand corner to make it 1-0 to Oke.

Argyle put Cheriton under pressure but they could not let their defensive duties slip as Cheriton countered with pace. However it was only a matter of time before Argyle netted again and it was Connor Madge, with his usual clinical style, who put away with ease. Soon after he scored Connor his second to wrap the game up and seal a fine team performance.

IN this clash of the top two sides in the league did not fail to deliver.

Copplestone played fine attacking football with wave after wave of attacks but Argyle to their credit played with maturity and got back behind the ball on every occasion.

Argyle's confinence began to build and a fine left foot strike by Cowan Wilson sealed the victory. It leaves Argyle the only unbeaten side and continues their remarkable record of being unbeaten in the league since the side was formed.
