THANKS to the efforts of club members Dave Nicks, John Kinsey and Lloyd Reynolds North Tawton Bowling Club organised a great day out with teams from the local area.
A maximum entry saw some happy faces all trying to win and take part in this competition arranged by Robert Arscott.
Club chaiman Mike Thwaites said: ‘It was lovely to see the club being used in this way with family, children and friends joining in the fun.
‘With all the refreshments and food available (supplied by the ladies of the club) for a good day out and the weather behaving.’
The Fountain Inn team of Tony Fisher, Nigel Dunster and Mark Denis won the Shield.
Mike thanked those that took part and all the club members who worked hard to make it a successful, memorable, and profitable day for the bowls club.
