NEARLY 60 hill and fell runners from all around Dartmoor set off in thick fog from Princetown on December 28 on two separate routes featuring different distances.
A seven-mile group of hill runners set off for South Hessary Tor from the back of the Plume of Feathers heading out to Nun’s Cross and Burrator while a second group left the village along the old railway line bound for Foggin Tor and beyond to complete a 12.5 mile trail run.
