A MOTORCYCLE theft, damage to a primary school and shoplifting feature in this week’s Okehampton area crimes.

• A Suzuki Bandit, worth £7,000, parked securely with chains at either end, was stolen from South Zeal between 4pm on February 15 and 10am on February 18. CR/015954/18.

• DAMAGE was caused to North Tawton Primary School during the recent half term week, between 2pm on February 13 and 8am on February 19. Damage was caused to roof slates and its roof ladder, and toys from the school had been thrown over the fence. CR/015054/18.

• A MAN picked up alcohol from the Co-op on Market Street in Okehampton and left, but later returned and took two vodka bottles and a bottle of cider. When he was confronted by a member of staff, the man gave back one vodka bottle and cider bottle but left with the second vodka bottle down his trousers. The incident occurred between 5.39pm and 9.09pm on February 21. CR/015822/18.

• A MAN walked in to Waitrose, Okehampton, at 7pm on February 20 and walked out with two joints of beef placed in a Lidl shopping bag. CR/015452/18.

• A VEHICLE parked on a drive on Park Road in Hatherleigh had £50 in cash, vehicle accessories and a credit card, which was used to buy goods off of Amazon, stolen between 12.01am on February 18 and 11.59pm on February 19. CR/015663/18.
