The Okehampton branch of the Royal British Legion has announced a change to its initial plans for the spring and summer season.

Last week, RBL Okehampton said it would be unable to sponsor a Ten Tors team this coming year but was hoping that it would be able to sponsor a team in future years.

RBL Okehampton chairman Darren Kelly will still be completing a 38-mile walk across Dartmoor to help raise money for the branch but the walk will now be known as the RBL Okehampton Moorland Trek.
